As part of NDIS’s ongoing commitment to supporting the vulnerable, the NDIA has worked with supermarket retailers to make sure NDIS participants wanting support from grocery shops, have priority access to home delivery services.
At Paradise, we understand how complicated shopping can be, especially for NDIS participants. Having a helper on hand can turn grocery shopping from a chore into a fun outing. Our shopping assistance services include taking you to the supermarket or shopping center, and pushing your trolley so you are free to peruse the produce and choose your own fruit and vegetables. We can help find everything on your list, grab any heavy or hard-to-reach items, decipher food labels, navigate the self-serve checkouts and bring you back home. Once there we can help unpack the groceries and put them away. If you prefer, we can do the shopping for you or arrange internet access so you can shop online.
Depending on your requirements, Paradise can assist people with in-home personal care and domestic assistance, shopping and meal preparation, and assistance with medication management. Our goal is to create meaningful relationships and true inclusion for people within the community.
