NDIS is Australia’s largest association for non-government disability service-based organizations, and it is the only organization that supports the full range of disability service providers across the country. The size of our members varies from small support groups to large multi-service organizations. Eligible for new to NDIS workforce includes a multitude of services for Australians with all types of disabilities.
The New to NDIS is necessary and useful to assist people with disabilities. It connects people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers to government services and community activities while also striving to create strong communities, safe workplaces, and customized services. Participants create individual plans that include money to assist them to live a normal life and pursue personal goals such as acquiring a new skill, developing autonomy, enrolling in school, or finding work.
Participants can choose who gives support, where, how, and when. They also have the option of self-managing their funds. And in case they don’t want to do it themselves, they can have their money managed by a Plan Manager or by the NDIA, or even a mix of both.
